Senior Associate, Transactional Banking Sales

About the role

I&M Bank is hiring a Senior Associate for its Transactional Banking Sales team in Nairobi. The role manages assigned transactional banking products and delivers end-to-end product objectives, including monitoring performance, driving product improvements, supporting product strategy, overseeing risk and governance, and contributing to the balance sheet strategy. It is a full-time management-level position.

Key responsibilities

• Drive market penetration and share of wallet growth by selling transactional banking solutions to clients
• Promote digital products to new and existing customers and assess client ecosystems for cash management opportunities
• Identify new business opportunities and work with internal stakeholders to turn them into revenue
• Monitor cash management revenue lines and support resolution of income leakage with Finance and business teams
• Recommend products suited to corporate and business banking client needs and support deal closure
• Manage prospect qualification, negotiations, solution presentations and implementation
• Collaborate with Relationship teams on local product and sales plans
• Support training and sensitization of branches, Relationship Managers, Business Managers and Relationship Officers
• Drive adoption of digital channels, collections, payment integrations and partnership solutions
• Maintain client satisfaction through post-sales follow-up, issue resolution and adherence to SLAs
• Provide performance and service reports supporting portfolio tracking, adoption and cross-sell revenue assurance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a related field
• Up to four years of relevant sales experience in a similar organization
• Membership in a relevant professional body
• Strong leadership, integrity, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
