Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

The Senior Business Development Manager will lead client acquisition and growth for SafeBoda Kenya, shaping demand strategy and driving revenue while managing a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement SafeBoda Kenya’s demand growth strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Set and achieve revenue targets, identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate a team of Sales Associates and Direct Sales Agents.
• Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with SME and corporate clients.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Product teams to ensure seamless service delivery and market‑aligned offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 5+ years of business development experience with a proven record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership, team management and communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation abilities; knowledge of transportation or ride‑hailing industry is a plus.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with analytical skills to assess performance metrics.
