Senior Corporate Accountant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join a global financial services leader on a full‑time remote basis. The role is responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations, adjustments, and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and timely filings.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience, with at least two years in a senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience participating in financial audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with a high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• In‑depth understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience conducting financial audits.
