Senior ERP & Business Solutions Consultant

About the role

Our client, a leading ICT training and solutions provider in Kenya, is seeking a Senior ERP & Business Solutions Consultant to deliver high‑level technical consultancy across ERP, HR, CRM and software development projects. The role involves guiding implementation teams, translating business and financial requirements into robust technical designs, and acting as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the project lifecycle and post‑go‑live support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert technical consultancy on ERP, HR, CRM and software development engagements.
• Guide customers in selecting, configuring and optimizing solutions to align with their business and financial processes.
• Translate business and financial requirements into sound technical solution designs.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex implementation and support issues.
• Support implementation teams with hands‑on guidance, configuration reviews, data migration, system integration and customisation.
• Validate financial modules (GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory costing, reporting) and ensure alignment with accounting policies and statutory requirements.
• Assist finance teams during month‑end/year‑end close, reconciliation and reporting setup.

Required profile

• Strong finance and accounting knowledge, especially in ERP financial modules.
• Proven experience delivering ERP, HR or CRM implementations.
• Ability to work independently as a senior individual contributor.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the capacity to handle technical escalations.
• Willingness to travel regionally across East Africa.
