Senior Finance & Accounting Manager (Night Shift – USA Hours)

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance & Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and strategic financial analysis across our international offices. The role works night-shift USA hours (2 pm‑11 pm SAST) and collaborates closely with the CEO and senior leadership on business improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions, including invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packs and conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Handle payroll preparation and commission calculations.
• Perform financial analysis for multiple business divisions and improve financial visibility across international operations.
• Support chart-of-accounts redesign and the transition from NetSuite to QuickBooks Online.
• Work directly with the CEO on operational and financial improvement projects.
• Coordinate with external accountants during year-end processes and enhance internal controls.
• Assist with AI-driven workflow and process improvements.

Required profile

• 7-10+ years of accounting and finance experience with a strong operational focus.
• Proven ability to work independently and communicate effectively with executive leadership.
• Experience in international or remote team environments is advantageous.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in technology, automation, and process improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling.
• Experience with NetSuite and/or QuickBooks Online.
• Excellent English communication.
