About the role
The Senior Finance Officer will support the DREEM Phase II (2026‑2031) initiative, a WUSC programme that expands opportunities for refugee, displaced and host‑community youth across Africa. This senior‑level position operates in a pan‑African context and reports to programme leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Provide financial oversight for the DREEM Phase II programme across multiple African countries.
- Manage budgeting, financial planning and reporting for the initiative’s activities and the RLO Opportunity Fund.
- Ensure compliance with WUSC financial policies and donor requirements.
- Collaborate with Refugee‑Led Organizations and partners to align financial resources with programme objectives.
- Support monitoring and evaluation of financial performance and impact.
Required profile
- Senior‑level finance professional with experience in international development or nonprofit finance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑country budgets and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with donor‑funded programmes and financial compliance.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
