Senior Information Management Officer

About the role

The Senior Information Management Officer will lead the Authority’s records and knowledge management functions, ensuring that information systems, archives and library resources support the organization’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement policies, strategies, guidelines and standards for records and knowledge management in compliance with applicable laws.
• Develop and maintain the Authority’s knowledge hub, establishing knowledge flows for business continuity.
• Map, capture, store and share organizational knowledge, and run awareness programmes on knowledge management.
• Prepare reports for the Knowledge Management division and implement risk mitigation measures.
• Coach, mentor and supervise staff within the unit.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of cumulative service, including at least three years at the Information Management Officer grade (IPOA 8) or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Records Management, Library Science, Archives or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Membership in a relevant professional body where applicable.
• Demonstrated merit and ability reflected in work performance and results.

• Proficiency in computer applications.
