Senior Platform / Solution Architect

About the role

Tezza Business Solutions is seeking a Senior Platform / Solution Architect to lead capacity planning and infrastructure design for large‑scale, high‑availability platforms. You will translate business growth forecasts into concrete infrastructure requirements and ensure the resilience of both cloud and on‑premises environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead capacity planning and dimensioning for applications, platforms and micro‑services.
• Convert business growth, transaction volumes and traffic forecasts into CPU, memory, pod/replica, node and cluster specifications.
• Develop quantitative workload models for normal, peak, burst and exceptional traffic conditions.
• Create short‑, medium‑ and long‑term infrastructure road‑maps that support availability, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Review existing environments to identify over‑ or under‑provisioning, bottlenecks and capacity risks.
• Define scaling policies, node density and resource utilisation for Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
• Establish repeatable sizing methodologies and validate assumptions through performance testing.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of experience in solution or platform architecture, cloud infrastructure and performance engineering.
• Proven track record designing large‑scale distributed systems and micro‑services platforms.
• Strong background with Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerised application environments.
• Hands‑on experience with both cloud and on‑premises infrastructure architecture.
• Demonstrated expertise in capacity planning, workload modelling and infrastructure forecasting.
• Experience in high‑availability, transaction‑intensive environments; telecom or financial services background is a plus.
