Senior Project Engineer

About the role

Burn is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead a team of Project Engineers and interns, manage timelines and resources, and ensure successful delivery of manufacturing projects across the product development stage‑gate process.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Project Engineers and interns, planning work, allocating resources and monitoring project schedules.
• Collaborate with NPD, Engineering Design, Tooling, Production, Quality and Commercial teams to develop manufacturing processes, assembly line designs and CAPEX budgets.
• Perform TAKT time calculations, line balancing, layout planning and create detailed project documentation.
• Define process flows, develop SOPs, technical documentation and support tooling and fixture design.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in project or manufacturing engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage resources and deliver projects on schedule.
