Senior Sales & Business Development Manager – Green Energy & Power Solutions

About the role

Solar Leader is looking for a highly experienced, commercially driven Senior Sales & Business Development Manager to lead market expansion and revenue growth in the green energy and power solutions space. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution to capture untapped opportunities across renewable energy markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and business development strategy for green energy solutions.
• Identify high‑potential markets, customer segments, projects and emerging opportunities within the renewable sector.
• Analyse industry trends, government policies, regulations and competitor activity to shape commercial opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects, from commercial/industrial clients to utilities, EPC contractors and NGOs.
• Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship building to closing large‑scale renewable projects.
• Establish strategic partnerships with technology providers, distributors, installers and consultants.
• Set short‑, medium‑ and long‑term sales and revenue targets and track performance against them.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in sales or business development within renewable energy, solar power, energy storage or related clean‑technology sectors.
• Proven track record of winning new business and expanding market presence.
• Strong network with key industry stakeholders such as solar developers, EPC contractors, utilities and government agencies.
• Ability to develop go‑to‑market strategies and execute them independently.
