Solution Architect - ERP & EAM Presales

About the role

Reach Recruit is hiring an ERP and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Presales / Solution Architect based in Nairobi (Westlands). The role translates complex business, operational and asset-management requirements into scalable enterprise solutions, working closely with sales teams from discovery through to delivery handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery sessions, workshops, requirements analysis and solution envisioning
• Design end-to-end ERP and EAM solutions covering finance, procurement, supply chain, inventory, projects, maintenance and asset lifecycle management
• Develop solution architectures, business process designs, integration concepts, roadmaps and implementation approaches
• Lead OEM product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, solution presentations and technical workshops
• Prepare RFP/RFI responses, proposals, statements of work, solution estimates, scope definitions and bid documentation
• Support sales teams from opportunity qualification through proposal, presentation, negotiation and delivery handover
• Design EAM processes such as asset hierarchy, preventive and predictive maintenance, work management, maintenance planning and scheduling, inspections, inventory and spare-parts management
• Define integration requirements across ERP, EAM, CRM, IoT, GIS, mobile and analytics platforms
• Identify solution gaps, risks and dependencies, and opportunities for digital transformation and process improvement

Required profile

• 5 years of experience in ERP and EAM presales and solution architecture
• Experience engaging business, technical and executive stakeholders throughout the sales and solution lifecycle
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor, translating OEM capabilities into practical solutions and measurable business value

• OEM platforms: IFS (IFS Cloud, ERP, FSM, Asset & Service Management), Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle EAM, SAP S/4HANA and SAP EAM, Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Functional areas: EAM, ERP transformation, solution architecture, maintenance and reliability, supply chain and procurement, systems integration and APIs, IoT and GIS, analytics, RFP/RFI and bid management
• Presales competencies: consultative selling, workshop facilitation, product demonstrations, proposal development and stakeholder management
