Sourcing and Logistics Manager

About the role

The Sourcing and Logistics Manager will lead end‑to‑end procurement and logistics operations for ShopHub Kenya, a digital importation and sourcing platform. Based in Nairobi, this full‑time position ensures that products are sourced cost‑effectively, shipped reliably, and delivered on time to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure factory‑priced goods.
• Manage the full procurement cycle, from purchase orders to contract administration.
• Plan and coordinate logistics, including shipment tracking, customs clearance and last‑mile delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, trigger replenishment and minimise stockouts or overstocking.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve supply‑chain issues.
• Maintain accurate sourcing and logistics records and analyse performance data.
• Propose process improvements to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, and logistics, preferably in e‑commerce, import/export or retail distribution.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital sourcing tools and platforms.
• Experience using inventory tracking systems.
• Familiarity with logistics management software for shipment coordination and customs processes.
