Stock Analyst

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Stock Analyst based in Nairobi. The role covers stock analysis, inventory monitoring, reporting and reconciliation, working closely with supply chain, warehouse and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse stock levels, movements, balances and trends to spot shortages, excess stock and slow-moving items, and monitor inventory performance and variances.
• Prepare accurate and timely stock and inventory reports on balances, movements and variances, and maintain consistent reporting formats.
• Use ERP systems to generate, review and analyse inventory reports, and reconcile ERP records with physical stock records.
• Support regular stock reconciliations, investigate variances and recommend corrective actions, keeping accurate records of adjustments.
• Monitor inventory controls, work with Supply Chain, Warehouse and Finance teams to improve stock accuracy and availability, and provide data for purchasing and stock planning decisions.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management or a related field.
• Over 1 year of experience in stock analysis, inventory management, stock control or a related role.
• Experience using ERP systems for inventory management and reporting.
