Storekeeper – Inventory & Food Service

About the role

The Storekeeper will manage all inventory activities for food, beverage, kitchen and operational supplies, ensuring accurate records and timely availability for the hospitality operations. This role supports the kitchen, restaurant and procurement teams by maintaining optimal stock levels and adhering to food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Record and store stock items in designated locations, applying FIFO rotation and monitoring expiry dates.
• Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations and prepare daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports.
• Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, damages or expiries promptly.
• Maintain proper storage conditions and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Support procurement and finance teams with accurate stock information and assist in audits.
• Monitor usage trends, implement loss‑prevention controls and investigate variances.
• Coordinate with suppliers, receiving personnel and internal teams to guarantee timely supply.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Storekeeper in a restaurant, hotel, catering or similar hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to handle food, beverage and kitchen inventory.
• Good understanding of food safety, storage practices and stock rotation.
