Student Application & Monitoring Associate

About the role

Chancen International is a non‑profit financial institution that uses Income Share Agreements to fund tertiary education for young Africans. The Student Application & Monitoring Associate manages the onboarding of new members and provides continuous support throughout their study journey, ensuring compliance with organisational values and fostering strong relationships with students, guardians and partner institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ISA information sessions, workshops and guardian meetings across partner educational institutions.
• Facilitate the signing of ISA contracts between Chancen, applicants and guardians using the organisation’s platforms.
• Respond to queries from applicants, guardians and other stakeholders, maintaining a database of common questions and standard responses.
• Support members in opening bank accounts during onboarding sessions.
• Lead outreach initiatives, visiting local communities to build trust and relationships with students and guardians.
• Monitor student progress, provide guidance on academic and behavioural issues, and ensure adherence to Chancen’ values.
• Conduct campus visits and assist with any member‑related queries.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with applicants, guardians and partner institutions.
• Ability to organise and deliver informational sessions and workshops.
• Strong attention to detail in contract administration and data management.
• Proactive approach to outreach and community engagement.
