About the role
The Student Recruitment Officer will act as the primary point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through the application process, answering queries, and promoting the university’s programmes. This role combines customer service, marketing, and event coordination to help meet enrollment targets.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to student inquiries via phone, email, and in‑person, providing information on fees, course selection, and admission procedures.
- Advise and counsel prospective students on programme options, eligibility criteria, and costs.
- Identify and recruit candidates to achieve defined enrollment goals.
- Collaborate with university departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
- Organise and attend on‑campus and off‑campus events such as education fairs, exhibitions, and promotional kiosks.
- Promote university programmes across various markets, including schools and community events.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the SRU Manager.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
