Subject Lead – Photography & 3D Art (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an outstanding and creative Teacher of Photography and 3D Art to lead the visual arts curriculum for our online Greenwich campus. This fully remote, full‑time position will involve delivering live, synchronous lessons to small classes of up to 15 students across KS3 3D Art, iGCSE Photography and AS Photography.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging live online lessons covering photographic techniques, digital post‑production and 3D art processes.
• Design, refine and align curriculum with Pearson Edexcel iGCSE and AS Photography specifications.
• Lead the Photography and 3D Art subject area, setting strategic direction, standards and quality assurance.
• Conduct departmental meetings, moderation and quality‑control activities.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback on portfolios, sketches and written work.
• Develop homework that builds practical skill, conceptual thinking and visual literacy.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching photography and/or 3D art to secondary‑level students.
• Ability to lead a subject area, design curriculum and maintain high teaching standards.
• Comfortable working remotely with flexible hours, including early UK mornings for international staff.
• Based in Europe, the Middle East or Asia and able to support UK teaching times.

• Digital photography techniques (capture, composition, lighting)
• Analogue or experimental photographic processes
• 3D art methods such as sculpture, construction and mixed‑media design
