Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Royal Mabati Factory Limited is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of supply chain operations. The role covers end-to-end supply chain processes, logistics, procurement, inventory management and distribution, aiming for timely and cost-effective fulfillment of customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee supply chain operations including inventory management, warehousing, order fulfillment and distribution; set SOPs and safety protocols; optimise warehouse layout and material handling.
• Manage the supply chain from procurement to delivery, build supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, and keep inventory at optimal levels.
• Lead and develop supply chain staff, run performance evaluations and training programmes, and handle employee relations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements, and oversee quality control of inbound and outbound goods.
• Manage supply chain budgets, prepare regular performance reports and analyse data to drive decisions.
• Meet SLAs on order fulfillment, address customer concerns and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Oversee fleet operations, vehicle acquisition and maintenance, and supervise drivers, including recruitment, training and road safety compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field.
• CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Level 4-6.
• Training in warehouse management, inventory control or fleet/transport management.
• Certificate in ERP systems, SAP, Oracle or stock management software.
• 3-5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, depot operations or inventory management.
