System Support Analyst

About the role

The System Support Analyst will configure, customize and support business applications for Britam, ensuring smooth adoption and efficient operation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and customize business applications using various databases and software tools.
• Present system functionality to new users and drive adoption across departments.
• Create and maintain user and system documentation.
• Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve operational issues.
• Design and develop front‑end, middle‑tier and back‑end database components.
• Perform data modelling, develop database objects, and tune performance.
• Research and propose improvements to design, performance and functionality.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 4–6 years of experience in application development, system customization, support and report design.
• At least 2 years of experience with RDBMS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL.
• ITIL certification.
• Previous experience in a financial or insurance institution is an advantage.
