About the role

We are seeking 20 skilled tailors to join our garment production team in Westlands, Nairobi. This full‑time role involves operating industrial sewing equipment and delivering high‑quality stitched garments according to approved designs.

Key responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines and related tailoring equipment efficiently.
• Stitch garments following approved patterns, designs, and specifications.
• Perform alterations, repairs, and finishing work as required.
• Ensure each garment meets quality standards before submission.
• Maintain accuracy, neatness, and consistency in all tailoring tasks.
• Meet production targets within set timelines.
• Identify and report machine faults or fabric defects to supervisors.
• Observe workplace safety procedures and handle equipment properly.
• Keep the workstation clean and organized.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production staff for smooth operations.

Required profile

• Craft Certificate in Tailoring, Dressmaking, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Previous experience in garment manufacturing or tailoring is an advantage.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, disciplined, and hardworking attitude.
