Talent Acquisition Officer

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Officer will coordinate recruitment across restaurants, markets and support functions, ensuring the business attracts and hires suitable employees within approved timelines and budgets. The role supports branch staffing, new openings and the development of a reliable talent pipeline while maintaining accurate recruitment records and a positive candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Work with HR and hiring managers to identify vacancies, confirm approvals, and maintain a recruitment tracker for progress and start dates.
• Source candidates through approved channels, prepare job ads, screen applications, conduct initial interviews and coordinate assessments with hiring managers.
• Verify qualifications, employment history and references; prepare offer letters and ensure documentation is complete before onboarding.
• Coordinate joining dates, branch allocation and induction, hand over employee files and follow up on new hires during the initial period.
• Develop relationships with hospitality colleges and training institutions, manage internship recruitment and represent the organisation at recruitment events.
• Prepare monthly recruitment reports, reconcile hires against requests and recommend improvements to processes and candidate experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field; professional HR qualification is a plus.
• At least three years of relevant recruitment experience, preferably in hospitality, retail or high‑volume environments.
• Experience recruiting operational and supervisory roles across multiple locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with recruitment or HR information systems.
