Team Leader – Debt Collection

About the role

The Team Leader will head the debt collection team at Boresha Credit Services Limited, ensuring efficient operations and meeting client expectations. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role combines leadership, strategic planning, and hands‑on support for field activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of the debt collection team, setting targets and monitoring performance.
• Develop and communicate action plans for task execution and team development.
• Maintain accurate records of tasks, employee activities, and documentation.
• Act as the primary liaison between the client and team members, sharing necessary information.
• Support field visits, negotiate waivers and Full & Final settlements.
• Prepare daily and monthly progress reports for client review.
• Ensure team compliance with collection processes, controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in resolving customer‑client disputes and initiate clearance of settled debts.
• Provide leadership to Account Managers, defining responsibilities and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant field with at least 2 years of debt‑collection experience, or a diploma with at least 5 years of experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
