Technical Account Manager

About the role

Marvelsoft is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join its Hong Kong office. The role combines technical support, account management and project delivery for existing and prospective customers in the global trading technology sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Marvelsoft software, configuration files and integration points to investigate and resolve client issues.
• Perform system health checks, identify potential problems early and coordinate escalations to team leaders or management.
• Organise and lead technical sessions, demos and pre‑sales support for current and prospective clients.
• Log, prioritise and track incidents in Jira, ensuring timely updates and clear communication.
• Deliver projects on schedule, preparing documentation, status reports and coordinating internal and external teams.
• Validate project outcomes internally and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of relevant experience in technical support or account management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Logical problem‑solving approach and willingness to learn both technical and business workflows.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Jira for issue tracking.
• Understanding of the FIX protocol used in trading environments.
