Tele-Sales Agent

About the role

TestHiring is looking for a full-time Tele-Sales Agent based in Nairobi, Kenya. The agent makes outbound calls to company-provided leads, engages and persuades potential customers, and converts them into confirmed and paid orders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products
• Handle customer objections confidently
• Follow up with leads consistently and convert them into confirmed, paid orders
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly performance targets and continuously improve conversion rate and sales performance

Required profile

• Sales experience is a must; proven telesales or direct sales experience
• Previous experience in telesales, call centres, insurance, banking, telecommunications, real estate or other high-volume sales environments is an added advantage
• Ability to work under pressure, target-oriented mindset, persistence, professional attitude and discipline

• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking to customers
• Strong objection-handling ability and ability to close deals
• Aggressive and proactive sales approach
• Basic computer skills
