Customer Service Representative - Lead Generation

About the role

Zuridesk is looking for a customer service representative in Nairobi who will support digital marketing and lead generation. You will create and manage content for social media and other digital channels, identify and engage potential customers, and help turn leads into customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage content for social media and other digital channels
• Identify and engage potential customers through digital channels, telephone and other outreach methods
• Respond professionally to customer and prospect enquiries and contact prospective clients to understand their needs
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain the features and benefits of Zuridesk
• Follow up with prospects after demonstrations and maintain accurate records of leads, prospects and follow-ups
• Help prepare marketing materials, presentations and product content
• Support the team in converting leads into customers and track and report on digital marketing and lead-generation activities
• Stay updated on digital marketing tools, customer service technology and CRM systems

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Teaching, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, IT or a related field
• Previous experience in a call centre, contact centre, BPO or customer service environment
• Above 25 years of age
• Excellent spoken and written English and Kiswahili
• Confident and professional with clients, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, reliable and willing to learn
• Previous experience in software sales, product demonstrations, SaaS, CRM or technology-related customer service is an added advantage

Required skills

• Basic to good practical knowledge of digital marketing
• Good understanding of social media platforms and online marketing
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
• Comfortable presenting and demonstrating software to customers and explaining complex items simply
• Good organisational and follow-up skills
