Telesales Team Lead

About the role

The Telesales Team Lead will head a high‑volume outbound sales team, driving revenue and conversion targets while ensuring a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the telesales team to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales, upsell, cross‑sell and add‑on targets.
• Manage lead pipelines, enforce response SLAs, and analyse lead performance by source, campaign and segment.
• Coach, mentor and conduct performance reviews, developing improvement plans for under‑performers.
• Oversee CRM and contact‑center/dialer system usage, ensuring data quality and accurate dispositioning.
• Monitor contact‑center metrics such as calls per hour, contact rate, talk time, and dialer abandonment.
• Maintain sales quality, QA scores and CSAT targets, handling complaints and reducing cancellations.
• Prepare regular performance reports, forecast sales, and provide insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field.
• 3+ years of telesales or outbound sales experience, with at least 1‑2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and conversion targets in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret performance data and drive improvements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using contact‑center/dialer platforms.
• Ability to work with performance dashboards and reporting tools.
