Volunteer Deputy Chairperson – Recruitment & Mobilization Committee

About the role

The Arise Africa Movement seeks a Volunteer Deputy Chairperson for its Recruitment & Mobilization Committee (RMC). This hybrid position supports the Chairperson in turning national recruitment and mobilization strategy into coordinated action across Kenya’s nine regions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of functional leads and Regional Mobilization Representatives.
• Track national recruitment and mobilization targets.
• Translate RMC strategy into weekly and monthly priorities.
• Identify and resolve cross‑team implementation bottlenecks.
• Coordinate performance reviews and progress reporting.
• Chair RMC meetings in the Chairperson’s absence.
• Support alignment between candidate recruitment, volunteer mobilization, regional operations and training.
• Ensure regional teams receive appropriate direction and operational support.
• Escalate significant strategic, compliance or resource issues to the Chairperson.
