Waiter – Full‑time positions (3 openings)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic waiters to join our hospitality team in Westlands, Nairobi. The role is full‑time and offers the chance to work in a busy restaurant environment, delivering excellent service to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Present menus, explain items, and make recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve meals and drinks according to service standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently.
• Process bills and handle cash, card, and mobile payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service stations.
• Observe food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and team members for smooth operations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including stock replenishment.
• Report complaints, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Upsell menu items and promote special offers.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in a reputable hotel, restaurant, café, or similar establishment.
• Training in food safety and hygiene is an advantage.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills.
