Warehouse Administrator

About the role

The Warehouse Administrator will oversee daily operations of the Kisumu Small Warehouse, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound flows, accurate inventory records, and timely last‑mile deliveries across nine southwestern counties.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and protect goods, manage access control, and maintain a clean, compliant warehouse environment.
• Handle receiving, inspection, sorting, and dispatch of items, verifying models and quantities against orders.
• Update the inventory ledger daily, conduct regular counts, and report discrepancies, damage, or slow‑moving stock.
• Coordinate with local carriers, verify shipping documents, monitor delivery timeliness, and resolve transportation exceptions.
• Implement inventory risk controls, recover discrepancies, and enforce early‑warning and goods‑control procedures.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly operation reports, synchronising data with the domestic headquarters.

Required profile

• Degree in warehousing, logistics or a related field with practical experience; photovoltaic/power‑equipment warehousing experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with local logistics and distribution processes and basic inventory documentation.
• Basic English communication skills and ability to perform simple computer tasks.
• Meticulous, responsible, down‑to‑earth and stable work attitude.
