Warehouse Specialist

About the role

KEDA Ceramics is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Warehouse Specialist to support warehouse operations and inventory management within its fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment in Kajiado, Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily morning meetings to review operational issues and suggest process improvements.
• Coordinate with Receiving & Issuing Officers to confirm inbound and outbound stock movements.
• Ensure no inventory variance between physical stock and system records.
• Support the Stock Audit Officer during warehouse audits and stock verification exercises.
• Maintain and implement 6S standards within the warehouse.
• Conduct daily and monthly stock‑taking activities.
• Monitor inventory movement and keep accurate warehouse records.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of materials.
• Prepare inventory and operational reports as required.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Specialist, Storekeeper or Inventory Officer in an FMCG environment.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and stock reconciliation.
• Knowledge of warehouse audit procedures.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, communication and teamwork abilities.
• High level of integrity and accountability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of 6S/5S warehouse practices.
