Warehouse Support Crew

About the role

The Support Crew is responsible for assembling furniture, supporting store operations and ensuring products are delivered and displayed in excellent condition. The role plays a key part in maintaining efficiency in the warehouse and enhancing the overall customer experience. It is based in Westlands, Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Furniture assembly and quality control: assemble furniture accurately and efficiently according to manufacturer guidelines, using the right tools and ensuring structural stability; inspect items for defects, damage or missing parts before and after assembly or delivery and report issues; verify finished products are clean, functional and ready for display or handover.
• Warehouse and inventory support: help receive, offload, sort and organise incoming stock safely, support periodic stock counts and reconciliations, and ensure proper labelling, categorisation and arrangement of stock.
• Delivery and loading assistance: load and offload furniture safely with proper stacking and securing, handle products carefully, and accompany delivery teams when required to assist with offsite assembly, placement and basic customer setup.
• Store support and merchandising: set up showroom displays according to layout plans and visual merchandising standards, keep the showroom tidy and appealing, and support promotional displays, seasonal changes and in-store campaigns.
• Health, safety and compliance: follow workplace safety standards including proper lifting techniques and use of protective equipment, operate tools and equipment responsibly, and keep the warehouse and showroom clean and hazard-free.
