WhatsApp Sales Agent (Infobip)

About the role

The WhatsApp Sales Agent will handle inbound WhatsApp enquiries, qualify customers and guide them through the loan application process. The role ensures a professional, compliant experience that protects both Mogo Finance’s brand and customer data.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to every assigned WhatsApp conversation within the first‑response target and clear new chats within the first 30 minutes of each shift.
• Use approved message templates for outbound follow‑ups and manage the chat queue (claim, tag, transfer, close).
• Identify customer needs, match them to the appropriate product, confirm eligibility and explain loan terms clearly.
• Collect and upload required documents, book inspections or branch visits, and hand off complete files to credit/underwriting.
• Follow up on incomplete applications, work cold leads via WhatsApp and outbound calls, and log all interactions in the CRM.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field.
• 1–2 years experience in sales, telesales or contact‑centre, preferably in financial services or digital lending.
• Excellent written English and Kiswahili, fast and accurate typing.
• Available for rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Experience with Infobip or similar WhatsApp Business platforms.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and basic numeracy for loan calculations.
