Account Officer – Real Estate Startup

About the role

The Account Officer will join a fast‑growing real‑estate startup in Lagos, supporting the finance team with day‑to‑day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial records. The role requires a strong eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and a basic understanding of tax reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial ledgers and transaction records.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports.
• Support tax filing processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analyses as required.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• BSc or HND in Accounting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and fast learning mindset.
