Accounts Receivable Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the revenue and collections function for a global software development leader. The role is fully remote and focuses on optimizing cash flow, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and supporting cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement accounts receivable policies and procedures to streamline invoicing and collections.
• Monitor aging reports and proactively address overdue accounts to minimize revenue loss.
• Coordinate with sales, client success, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP revenue recognition standards and maintain accurate financial records.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue accounting or accounts receivable management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information to non‑financial audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite or comparable platforms.
• Knowledge of GAAP revenue recognition standards.
