Adjunct Instructor – Clinical Nursing

About the role

Ferris State University seeks qualified nursing professionals to provide direct clinical supervision and instruction to students in the pre‑licensure Baccalaureate Nursing program. This part‑time, hourly position involves teaching in acute‑care or community clinical settings on campus or approved sites.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver in‑person clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students.
• Assess student clinical proficiency according to university guidelines.
• Maintain accessibility to students outside scheduled clinical hours.

Required profile

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
• Residence in Michigan at the time of hire.
• Master of Science in Nursing or a BSN plus a graduate nursing degree completed within two years of hire.
• Minimum two years of RN clinical experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
