About the role
We are seeking an Associate Professor to lead and expand the Cybersecurity programme across our Abu Dhabi and Al Ain campuses. The successful candidate will join a vibrant academic community, delivering high‑quality teaching and advancing research in applied cybersecurity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in cybersecurity and related specialisations.
- Assess student performance, provide feedback, and support academic progression.
- Conduct scholarly research and publish in reputable, Scopus‑indexed journals.
- Participate in curriculum design, accreditation processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage with industry and community partners to enhance learning opportunities.
- Mentor students on career development at local, regional and international levels.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in Applied Cybersecurity or a closely related field.
- Minimum five years of university‑level teaching experience with a proven record of teaching excellence.
- Research track record with publications in Scopus‑indexed journals.
- Fluent oral and written communication in English and Arabic.
- Commitment to professional development and curriculum innovation.
- Willingness to contribute to university service and community engagement.
