B2B Sales Executive

About the role

A pioneering East African company based in Nairobi, which offers background checks, KYC and KYB services to the African market, is looking for a highly skilled and motivated full-time on-site B2B Sales Executive. The role sits within the corporate B2B services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the sales pipeline, tracking leads from first contact through conversion
• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives
• Analyse the market to identify trends, opportunities and threats
• Grow the client portfolio by acquiring new customers and deepening existing relationships
• Prepare and submit reports on individual and team activity
• Negotiate contracts and build long-term relationships with current and potential clients
• Conduct market research, identify new business opportunities and meet sales targets
• Network and deliver pitches and presentations to potential clients

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
• Proven track record in B2B sales within the service/consultancy industry, with at least 5 years of experience
• Experience building and maintaining client relationships
• Experience in fintech, finance, banking, HR or insurance is a plus
