Bilingual Paralegal (Medical Records)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Paralegal specialized in medical records to join our growing legal team in Kenya. The role is fully onsite and requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Use RingCentral phone application and the Casee case‑management system for daily operations.
• Track pending medical records and billing requests, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Identify and contact the appropriate medical facilities or departments, both verbally and in writing.
• Review, interpret, and log details of previously submitted medical records and billing requests.
• Enter comprehensive notes on all provider communications.
• Set follow‑up dates and schedule future actions for outstanding requests.
• Escalate issues that require direct paralegal intervention.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of formal experience in a legal environment.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1) with clear pronunciation.
• Strong IT aptitude and willingness to learn new software.
• Ability to make quick, guideline‑aligned decisions.
• Highly detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Enjoys client interaction and delivering high‑quality service.
