Business Conservation Analyst

About the role

Madison Life Assurance Kenya Limited is seeking a Business Conservation Analyst to join its Operations team at the Head Office in Nairobi. The role focuses on data analysis, reporting automation, and supporting various departments with analytical insights.

Key responsibilities

• Champion automation of MLAK dashboard reports and monthly operations reports using Business Intelligence tools.
• Coordinate departmental ICT champions for testing core system issues raised weekly.
• Assist in industry and market data analysis on a quarterly basis and respond to ad‑hoc requests.
• Provide insights on data trends and support financial projections for product lines and branches.
• Report comparative analysis using industry IRA, RBA reports and other data sources.
• Compile various board reports and support other departments with required data analysis.
• Monitor and review operations automation processes in consultation with departmental managers and the Business Analyst.
• Track risk registers to mitigate risks and address operational audit issues.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience as an analyst in an insurance company, investment house or stockbroker.
• Strong attention to detail and well‑organized self‑starter.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
• Professional qualification in Accounts or Finance.
• Data Analysis/Business Analytics certification.
