About the role
Apex Collections Africa Ltd is seeking an entry‑level Conventional Debt Account Manager to join its Nairobi team. The role focuses on engaging customers with overdue accounts, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring debt recovery while preserving positive relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Contact customers with overdue accounts to discuss repayment options.
- Negotiate and arrange repayment plans that align with company policies and client requirements.
- Recover outstanding debts in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of communications, agreements, and collections.
- Prepare regular reports on collection activities and outcomes.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of debt collection laws, ethics, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in sales, credit, or lending preferred.
- Strong record‑keeping and reporting abilities.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in any field.
