Business Development Executive

About the role

Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African region (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan). It is hiring a Business Development Executive in its Business Development department in Kampala, reporting to the Business Development Specialist. The role identifies and secures new business, nurtures client relationships and contributes to revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential clients and industries for HR services such as recruitment, talent management, employee benefits, payroll and training, and conduct market research
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, email campaigns and social media (e.g. LinkedIn), working with Growth Managers on alignment and closure
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients and act as the main point of contact, presenting customised solutions
• Manage the sales process from inquiry to contract signing, bridging business development and client servicing teams
• Create proposals, presentations and value propositions, negotiate contracts and service agreements, and help prepare quotes, SLAs and other documentation
• Work with senior leadership to refine the business development strategy, track sales activity, pipeline and revenue projections, and analyse competitors
• Monitor client satisfaction, run post-sales follow-ups and pursue upselling and cross-selling
• Collaborate with HR consulting, operations and marketing teams, and share client feedback

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Marketing or a related field
• Strong understanding of HR services
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence and negotiate
• Strong networking and presentation skills
• At least 3 years of experience supporting research teams, recruitment analytics or staffing firms is a strong advantage
