Business Development Manager - Google Cloud

About the role

Liquid Intelligent Technologies is hiring a Business Development Manager for its Google Cloud business, based in Westlands, Nairobi. The role combines market research, partnership building and client-facing solution selling.

Key responsibilities

• Market analysis: research and analyse market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
• Opportunity identification: proactively seek new business opportunities and potential clients for Google Cloud solutions.
• Strategic partnerships: build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, partners and industry influencers.
• Solution evangelism: present Google Cloud products and services to prospective clients, highlighting their business value and technical advantages.
• Proposal development: work with technical teams to create tailored proposals and solutions for clients.
• Sales enablement: support sales teams with insights, training and resources to drive successful engagements.
• Pipeline management: maintain and report on a robust pipeline of business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT or a related field; advanced degree or certification in cloud technologies preferred.
• 3+ years in business development or sales in cloud solutions.
• 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud or similar platforms.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of cloud computing and Google Cloud offerings.
• Knowledge of partner ecosystems and channel sales.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Google Cloud certifications (Foundational/Associate).
