Business Growth and Development Manager (Nyeri Branch)

About the role

The Business Growth and Development Manager will lead the Nyeri branch of Faulu MFB, driving sales, profitability and market presence while managing a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement branch business initiatives and turnaround strategies aligned with Faulu’s overall objectives.
• Lead business growth for the branch, agencies and alternative service outlets, driving sales of all products and services.
• Manage customer relationships, community partnerships and government liaison to create profitable opportunities.
• Oversee brand visibility, marketing activities and ensure proper merchandising in line with guidelines.
• Lead the branch team, set performance targets, provide coaching and ensure succession planning.
• Control costs, monitor budgets and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role delivering strong results.
• Proven track record in sales, business growth and customer relationship management.
• Experience in lending/credit, preferably within micro‑finance institutions or financial services.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making and problem‑solving capabilities.
