Carrier Business and Relations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a well‑connected, proactive Carrier Business and Relations Manager to support our expanding operations in Kenya and the wider East Africa region. The role will act as the bridge between our Kenya office and the local telecom ecosystem, helping us integrate smoothly with operators, regulators and industry bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local telecom operators across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and the broader East Africa market.
• Serve as liaison between our office and key stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, partners and local business communities.
• Support business development by arranging introductions, meetings and follow‑ups with potential partners or clients.
• Represent the company at local events, workshops and conferences related to telecom and ICT.
• Help localize communication and positioning strategies based on cultural and industry context.
• Provide insight and advice on navigating the local business environment, telecom landscape and stakeholder expectations.

Required profile

• Strong existing network in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and other East African telecom industries.
• 5+ years of experience in carrier wholesale, stakeholder management, business development or external relations.
• Familiarity with local telecom players, regulations and business practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, professional, culturally aware attitude.
