Fixed Network Product Manager

About the role

Huawei is seeking a Fixed Network Product Manager based in Kenya to drive sales and business development of fixed network solutions across Sub‑Saharan Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for Fixed Network solutions, including DWDM, OTN, IP, FTTH and related technologies.
• Lead pre‑sales activities such as solution design, technical proposals, and RFP responses, and engage with telecom operators on network planning, implementation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Huawei product, sales and R&D teams to create customer‑focused solutions and support Account and Solution Managers in achieving targets.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering or IT.
• At least 2 years of experience in Fixed Network solutions sales or pre‑sales.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel within the region.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of DWDM, OTN, IP, routers, switches, FTTH, OLT, ODN and ONT.
• Understanding of telecom operator network planning, operations and RFX processes.
• Strong customer‑facing, consulting, presentation and negotiation abilities.
