About the role
The Clerical Officer will support various units such as Human Resource Management, General Registry, Supply Chain Management, Accounts and General Administrative Services. The role reports to a Senior Officer and may be deployed where needed.
Key responsibilities
- Receiving, filing and dispatching correspondence
- Preparing initial documents for issuance of stores
- Collecting and analysing statistical records
- Carrying out transactions related to the functional area
- Photocopying and scanning documents
- Maintaining an efficient filing system and safekeeping of invoices
- Controlling movements of records and file movements
- Drafting correspondences and ensuring safe custody of equipment, documents and records
- Indexing documents and records and checking general office cleaning
Required profile
- Kenyan citizenship
- Minimum of one year experience in a busy office
- Certificate in Human Resource Management, Records Management, Business Administration or equivalent
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with mean grade C- or equivalent
