About the role
Mercor is looking for experienced Clinical Law Professors or Clinic Directors to help evaluate AI‑generated legal reasoning across a range of civil law matters. This short‑term, remote project will involve reviewing AI outputs and providing feedback to improve the system’s accuracy for legal education and practice.
Key responsibilities
- Assess AI‑generated legal responses for issue spotting, reasoning, and procedural analysis.
- Evaluate scenarios in housing, family, consumer, and debt law.
- Provide structured feedback to refine AI models.
- Leverage experience supervising law students and live‑client clinics.
Required profile
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Current or prior admission to a U.S. bar.
- Experience directing or supervising a law‑school clinic.
- Expertise in one or more civil legal practice areas.
- Strong legal writing and evaluation abilities.
