Consultant Trainer – Biomedical Engineering

About the role

The Indepth Research Institute (IRES) seeks an experienced Consultant Trainer in Biomedical Engineering to deliver technical training, workshops, and consultancy services in Nairobi. This contract role requires a strong background in biomedical engineering and extensive training experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver technical training programmes and professional development workshops in biomedical engineering.
• Develop training materials, case studies, presentations and practical exercises.
• Provide technical advisory input for training proposals, curricula and consultancy assignments.
• Keep training content current with emerging technologies, standards and industry practices.
• Assess participant learning and give constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or Medical Engineering (Master’s degree advantageous).
• Registered and licensed by the Engineers Board of Kenya and member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya.
• Demonstrated experience in professional training, facilitation and technical presentations.
