About the role
CBX Solutions is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to drive product sales to general contractors, facility owners, and light‑commercial contractors. The role blends estimating, customer service, and account management to ensure profitable and competitive bids.
Key responsibilities
- Estimate quantities from blueprints and prepare accurate bids.
- Achieve sales and margin targets for assigned accounts.
- Manage order entry, special product research, and delivery coordination.
- Conduct bid reviews to maintain profitability.
- Perform telemarketing during slow periods to generate new business.
- Maintain strong customer relations across all branch locations.
- Collaborate with accounting on accounts‑receivable collections.
- Provide material procurement and application solutions to customers.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of experience in commercial doors, frames, hardware, or related specialty products.
- Knowledge of the doors, frames, and hardware industry and familiarity with Comsense.
- Detail‑oriented with strong customer‑service and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment background check and drug test.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
