Customer Service Officer – Operations Team Member

About the role
Skippers Transport is looking for a Customer Service Officer to join its Operations team in Perth. In this role you will act as a key liaison between drivers, customers and internal teams, helping to keep freight moving smoothly and on time.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the movement of freight and cargo across the network.
- Communicate with drivers, customers and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments.
- Assist in resolving operational issues and challenges as they arise.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for operational processes.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a similar role within the transport or logistics industry.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive, problem‑solving attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and standard software applications.
